In a word, it’s GREAT. The area is classified as having a humid, subtropical climate. From May to October, the weather is warm, with frequent short rain showers. The weather is cooler and drier from November through April.

Summer daytime highs are usually in the 80s to low 90s. Summertime nighttime low approach 70º. Fall and spring are transitional seasons with daily highs in the upper 70s to 80º, with overnight lows from the 50s to the low 60s.

The coolest months are from December through February. Average daytime highs range from 65º to 70º and nighttime lows are near 50º. Occasional cold fronts often drop the daytime temperatures into the 50s with nights in the 30s a few times each month.
